is located in a street that is called "Calle Donà o
del Spezier", between San Stin and S.Agostin square. Only 10 minutes
walk from Piazzale Roma
bus terminal and the railway station S.Lucia as well.
Close to the waterbus stop "San Tomà"
where you will be able to catch both the waterbus number
1 and 2 during the day and the line N all night long.
Walking distance to several bars,
restaurants,
pizzerias, trattorias, bakeries, groceries and markets.
Less than 10 minutes far away from Rialto fish market
and Rialto Bridge. Only 15 minutes walk to St.
MarKs square.
The day of your arrival you will be able to reach Il Grande Cocomero
choosing among:
Train.
From the railway station
Venezia Santa Lucia, catch the vaporetto line 1 or 2 in
the direction of Rialto and get off at "San Tomà" stop
(about 20 minutes). Then reach "San
Stin" square and "Calle di Ca'Donà" on foot or
from the railway station, on foot, to the flat (about 10
minutes).
Plane.
From the airport of Venice Marco Polo, catch the bus (Actv)
line 5 and get off at "Piazzale Roma" terminus. Then
catch the vaporetto line 1 or 2 and get off at "San
Tomà" stop.
From the airport of Treviso, catch a bus (Ryanair
shuttle) and get off at "Piazzale
Roma". Then catch a vaporetto line 1 or 2 to "San Tomà"
stop (about 25 minutes) or
reach the flat on foot in about 10 minutes.
Car. If
you choose to arrive by car, we suggest you to leave
your car in the parking behind the Mestre railway
station, cheaper than the others. Then take a
train to Venice, which leaves every 10 minutes and takes
about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Venice S.
Lucia railway station, take the
vaporetto or come on foot.
Please notice that we usually meet our guests nearby the
railway station or at the vaporetto stop San Tomà or at
piazzale Roma bus terminal.
